Servicing

Lighting Servicing & Cleaning

Professional lighting fixtures are a significant investment and regular servicing is essential to keep them performing at their best. Our lighting cleaning and servicing service helps extend fixture lifespan, maintain brightness and colour accuracy, and reduce the risk of failures during shows or events.

Dust, smoke residue, and general wear can all impact performance over time — even when fixtures appear to be working normally.

Why Regular Cleaning Matters

Over time, moving head and LED fixtures accumulate dust and residue internally and externally. Without proper cleaning, this can lead to:

  • Reduced light output and clarity
  • Overheating due to blocked fans and vents
  • Increased noise from cooling systems
  • Premature component failure
  • Poor pan/tilt or mechanical performance

Routine servicing keeps fixtures reliable, efficient, and show-ready.

How Often Should Lights Be Cleaned?

For touring and event use, maintenance is recommended every 6–12 months, while clubs and theatres should schedule maintenance every 6 months; in dusty or haze-heavy environments, more frequent servicing is advised, and we can help set up a regular maintenance schedule tailored to suit your operation.
